The Meaning of the Colors of Pray the Psalms
The colors of Pray the Psalms represent the liturgical colors of the Christian year. The basic colors are:
Advent: Purple (or blue), and pink on the third Sunday.
Christmas: White and/or gold
Epiphany: White and/or gold
Ordinary Time: Green
Ash Wednesday: Black and/or grey
Lent: Purple
Holy Week: Red and/or purple
Good Friday: Black
Easter: White and/or gold
Pentecost: Red
Trinity Sunday: White and/or gold
Christ the King Sunday: White and/or gold
